Discord Timestamp Generator

Free Discord timestamp generator. Pick a date and time to instantly get every Discord <t:...> format with a live preview of how each one renders for your readers, in their own timezone.

Unix timestamp:

Discord timestamps let you post a single date that every member sees in their own local timezone, automatically. Instead of writing "9pm EST" and forcing everyone to do the math, you drop in a <t:...> tag and Discord renders the right time for each reader. This generator builds that tag for you — pick a date and time and copy the code that fits.

There are seven render styles, from a bare short time to a live "in 3 days" relative countdown. The preview beside each code shows roughly how Discord will display it, so you can choose the format that reads best for event announcements, raid schedules, drop times, or deadlines before you paste it into a channel.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the preview not exactly match what my friends see?

Discord renders timestamps using each viewer's own locale and timezone settings. The preview here uses your browser's settings, so the wording and time will match for you but may differ slightly for others — which is exactly the point of dynamic timestamps.

What do the letters like :R and :F mean?

Each suffix picks a style: t = short time, T = long time, d = short date, D = long date, f = short date+time, F = full date+time with weekday, and R = relative (e.g. "in 3 days").

Where do I paste the code?

Copy any code row and paste it directly into a Discord message, embed, or channel description. Discord converts the raw <t:...> text into a formatted timestamp on send.

Is the relative timestamp live?

Yes. The :R format updates on Discord's side, counting down or up over time, so a posted message stays accurate without editing.
